Your purchase grants you a perpetual personal-use license to the purchased major version of XMPS.

The license includes:

There are no recurring XMPS Personal Edition subscription fees.

Personal Edition License and Usage Restrictions

XMPS Personal Edition is licensed for private, noncommercial entertainment.

Permitted Use

You may install and operate XMPS on your own computers, host private simulations over a local network or private internet connection, and invite friends to participate through their web browsers.

Only the licensed host requires a Personal Edition license. Invited crew members do not need to purchase individual licenses to participate in the host's private session.

Restrictions

The Personal Edition license does not permit:

• Commercial or revenue-generating use of the simulator.
• Public events, exhibitions, or publicly accessible simulation sessions.
• Charging admission or participation fees for simulator sessions.
• Operating more than one active simulation simultaneously under a single license.
• Redistributing, reselling, sublicensing, or sharing the simulator software or installer.
• Modifying, reverse engineering, or creating derivative works from the simulator software.

XMPS installers must be obtained through official Xelseor distribution channels.

The software remains the intellectual property of its respective rights holders. Purchasing a license grants permission to use the software under the applicable terms; it does not transfer ownership of the software or its intellectual property.

Personal Edition vs. Xelseor Universe

Personal Edition is designed for independent, private gameplay. The official Xelseor Universe is a separate subscription-based experience for players seeking an organized, persistent multiplayer environment.

A Personal Edition purchase does not include an Xelseor Universe subscription. Universe participation requires separate enrollment and an active subscription.

Support and Updates

Personal Edition includes documentation and best-effort technical support.

Updates within your purchased major version are included. Major-version upgrades may be offered separately.

Third-party AI services, internet connectivity, local AI hardware, and compatible client devices are the responsibility of the user.
